Sugar Nova is the Denver-based live electronic dance duo made up of producer/multi-instrumentalist Luke Miller (of the jam-electronic powerhouse Lotus) and vocalist Rachel Eisenstat. Influenced by artists like Little Dragon, Maribou State, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, Sugar Nova lives at the intersection of electronic precision and expressive storytelling, blending soulful vocals with synth- and guitar-driven production built on disco and house grooves.

Their sophomore album, House of the Jaguar, was released in 2026 and features collaborations with G. Love & Special Sauce, The Main Squeeze, and bassist Garrett Sayers of The Motet, among others. The album demonstrates the pair's songwriting dexterity across multiple dance sub-genres before culminating in a deep-house reimagining of Jefferson Airplane’s “Somebody to Love.”

Sugar Nova’s music has been remixed by Cloudchord, JackLNDN, Opolopo, Chalk Dinosaur, LJ Mase, Dark City Agent, and Pure Colors. Alongside their studio collaborations, these remix projects and a diverse range of live pairings reflect the duo’s connections across the electronic, funk, and jam-oriented music communities.

Drawing on Miller’s extensive live experience with Lotus—including major appearances at Red Rocks, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and Fuji Rock—Sugar Nova delivers an engaging, polished live show. They have performed as direct support for Satin Jackets, Random Rab, PINES, and Mr. Tout le Monde, and shared bills with Chalk Dinosaur, Future Joy, JackLNDN, and Dark City Agent.

Their festival appearances include Secret Dreams, Summerdance, and Rochester Fringe Fest, while headlining performances at Meow Wolf and Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox in Denver and at clubs across the Midwest and Eastern U.S. have established Sugar Nova as a compelling live act in their own right.
